Behavioral Thoughts by Ron Reams
Posted By:Ron Reams Posted On:February, 09th 2009 Category: Health
February is here and we are soon reminded about the Super Bowl and the Father of our Country, George Washington. When we think of George two things come to mind; the cherry tree and “I cannot tell a lie”. We have learned about our sixteenth president as Honest Abe. We all know that human nature is not perfect and as hard as we try, we can never be 100% truthful. Human nature prevents us from being totally honest with our family, friends’, employers and many times to ourselves. We can justify and rationalize anything that agrees with the moment. That why it is important as you travel on this journey to lose weight to remember that perfection is impossible. More importantly you must remember that slip ups are expected. Corrections and support can be added. The program will not be jeopardized. You are not a failure. You are, yes admit it, human! However, having recognized and acknowledging that a slip was made to the team dedicated to your success can alleviate a lot of confusion and frustration. Being here is your choice. A choice you have made to improve your attitude and health. And like any other matter concerning your health, information from you is paramount. The end result is a happier, healthier you. We are all a part of the team to help you reach your goal. The most important team member is you. Without you, the team is one player short and a team that is missing its Number 1 player will not be successful. I am dedicated to each of you and will assist you in anyway possible. I look forward to meeting and working with you on your successful journey to a new you! |
