Menu Planning

Even if it sounds tedious, it pays to sit down once a week to make a menu for the coming days. Not only will you avoid stress by knowing what’s for dinner each night, but you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing your meals will be tasty and healthy.

This is also a great time to think about what can be done with the leftovers.  You can plan entire meals from what may normally be thrown away.  For example, tonight’s grilled chicken could be tomorrow’s chicken salad.  Start with planning a day or two and work your way up to planning the entire week.  The more you plan the more likely you will eat healthy all the time.
